TOP Project Space is excited to present its latest talk series, “Perspectives: Stories Untold.” Designed with a global focus, this series showcases the work of artists and scholars. We’re kicking things off by welcoming researchers Dr. Emrah Işık and Yasin Acar from Batman University, Turkey. They will be shedding light on their current research in Kurdish literature.

Join us as Dr. Emrah Işık explores “Memory, Storytelling and the Dengbêj Tradition,” and Yasin Acar delves into “Mem û Zîn – Kurdish Love Epic: A Queer Interpretation.” The presentations, each lasting 20-30 minutes, will create a conducive atmosphere for friendly conversations and thematic interest at the TOP Project Space in Tempelhof.

The “Perspectives: Stories Untold” series aims to give voice to the unspoken, through an exploration of decolonial perspectives and queer and feminist approaches. Artists, scholars, and creative workers get an opportunity to introduce a topic and provide insight into their background, interests, and previous work. Join us as we uncover the untold narratives waiting to be shared.
