A lab with an exhibition and a workshop on monitoring urine takes place in a newly shaping TopLab. Offering activities in real laboratory and also home-like environment, as well as philosophical/theoretical, scientific and hands-on approaches, this lab will allow to discuss the issues of self-repair, creation/altering of organisms as well as bioethics/biosafety from multiplicity of perspectives.

We are a new initiative called Common(s)Lab – Nachbarschaftslabor, operating in Top Schillerpalais, Neukölln. We want to get together with you, our friends and community, to introduce ourselves, the project and the space hosting it and collectively share our ideas about what a neighbourhood lab could become. Let’s gather around the table and combine thinking with some radical cookie-making and decorating (the dough will be vegan), followed by a movie screening showing commoning in practice. So, join us for this unusual pre-Christmas gathering – we’ll even learn how to make inventive cookie-cutters from recycled materials!
