Dust is a silent witness of passing time. A constantly shifting matter, it oscillates between moments of movement and non-movement. As a byproduct of action, it evidences a process or event but can also index an absence – its collection signifies neglect, inaction, even entropy.

This dichotomy exists within our human perception as well. The events, objects, and spaces that form our lives leave traces – memories, emotions, and thoughts which once created begin to swirl, settle, and accumulate over time in our minds. „Dust“ invites the viewer to reflect upon these observations.
