Hands-on workshop inviting the participants to explore different substrates to grow Photobacterium on.
Living in a voluntary relationship with the sea animals, Photobacterium has developed a social sense directly connected to its bioluminescence. In this open workshop, you will culture bacteria on various substrates (silicone, paper, rope, textile, concrete) and then grow it at home until it glows beautifully. No prior knowledge needed; we provide all the materials.
The workshop is free, however we highly encourage small donations (5-10 Euro) to help cover the material costs.
